Holiday Caroling Magic 11/29/2010
![]() The songbook is assembled, and old-school caroling will be done over the next few weeks by a merry band of Pirates of Penzance cast members and assorted others. Oh bliss! At the Landmark Loew's Theatre in Jersey City (JSQ) Saturday, December 11 6pm-7pm There will be 45 minutes of holiday music (we carolers) before the movie "Scrooge" is shown on the big screen. A live organ concert and a sing-along are scheduled. Monroe Center Hoboken (Rm C413) Saturday, December 18 and Sunday the 19th 3pm - 6pm The vision is as follows: we meander the halls of the Monroe Center caroling in the traditional way with a 4-5 song repertoire, and invite folks to join us for the group sing-along in the Theatre Company space. At 4 we hand out songbooks to the masses, and lead them in a group sing-along. Bring all percussion-type instruments! We are organizing with nursing homes to see if we can (from 5-6) sing for them (again, traditional caroling style) during their dinner hour...Stay tuned for details! Happiest of Holidays!
